this is the light
burning across the water.
breaking and shattering
… never before seen and unknown
light you cannot possess
punctures your marrow
light tearing worlds apart
only uneasy until
light alone stands
as it is quite bright
i ignore all foolish darkness
insanity and lies
so as to collapse directly,
knowing nothing and aching
sun, light, and begging one
